The practices integral to the study of prosody and writing of poetry are vocal, gestural, motional, emotional, interoceptive, medicinal, melodic and meditative tunings, tactics, embodiments, moods, modes, blessings, admonishments, signalings, breathing-patternings, dispellings, et cetera. As experiential, interrelational embodiments of language, they are the mainstay of the field of prosody.
